Berry Botanical Vellum Cards

I’ve made three cards with the May Product of the Month. I LOVE this vellum!

I made the Celebrate card on Facebook Live as follows.

  • Make a Peaceful Pine card base measuring 5½ x 4¼ inches when folded.

  • Cut Basic White cardstock 4 × 1¼ inches (cut 3). Adhere these to the card base placing the two outside white strips ½ inch from the edges, then adding the third white strip in the center of those two.

  • Cut the Berry Botanical Vellum to 5 ¼ x 3 ½ inches. Adhere to the card base, putting the adhesive where it will not show behind the sentiment.

  • Cut a Peaceful Pine sentiment background using the Sweet Words & Labels dies.

  • Create the sentiment using Strawberry Slush ink on the Thoughtful Moments hybrid embossing folder and Basic White cardstock. Adhere it to the sentiments background.

  • Cut a 12-inch piece of white & gold twine and tie it in a bow. Adhere it on an angle using glue dots or liquid glue.

  • Adhere the sentiment using foam dots over the bow.

  • Add In Color butterfly embellishments.

Product of the Month for May 2026

You can now order my exclusive card kit for the Relaxing Waterside bundle.

The kit includes all the cardstock and DSP needed to make the four cards, all cut, scored, and ready to assemble. You will also receive the cardstock needed to stamp and/or die cut with the Relaxing Waterside dies. The sentiment die cuts are provided since those dies are not included in the bundle. Two years seems like a long time, but you blink, and they’re gone. So, my advice is to get them as soon as they are available and use the heck out of them!

New Catalog Experience!

Starting in May, Stampin’ Up! is refreshing the way products are shared in print, with a new, streamlined catalog strategy designed to make shopping easier and more intuitive. Instead of an annual catalog and multiple minis, there will be three beautifully designed catalogs per year—each one complete, current, and easy to use on its own. No more overlapping catalogs! 

Each catalog will introduce new products alongside a selection of customer-favorite staples—such as stamps, ink, paper, tools, and adhesives—bringing the feel of a mini catalog and an annual catalog together in one place. A catalog will be released every four months: 

  • January–April 

  • May–August 

  • September–December 

This is the cover of the new catalog for May-August 2026.

I just did my preorder from the May-August catalog, and I can hardly wait to show you what’s new! There are five new In Colors, a new black hybrid ink pad, and, of course, beautiful suites and bundles. And bling…gotta have new bling!

Simply Beautiful Belly Band Card

Belly band cards are beautiful and work really well with a gatefold card, like this one.

I used the Simply Beautiful bundle to make this card, along with a die from the Beautifully Celebrated dies.

The belly band slides off to allow the recipient to open the card. So fun!

Here are the measurements I used (inches):

  • Peach Pie cardbase - 11 x 5-1/2, score on the long side at 1-1/4, 3-3/8, 7-5/8, and 9-3/4

  • Lovely & Beautiful DSP, peach checkerboard 5-1/4 x 1-7/8 (cut 2)

  • Lovely & Beautiful DSP, little flowers 5-1/4 x 3/8 (cut 2) and 5-1/4 x 1 (cut 2)

  • Basic White 5-1/4 x 4

  • Fresh Freesia 10-1/2 x 1

I used Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie two-tone cardstock to make the flowers on the front, and Darling Duckling to make the stamen.

The embellishments are the Pearlized Faceted Circles.
